Chile Con Soul Quartet is an exciting and powerful group that plays an engaging, unique, soulful and high-energy mix of Latin jazz, salsa and even some hard bop, playing their interpretations of tunes by Poncho Sanchez, Don Grolnick, Kenny Dorham, Ruben Gonzalez, Roy Hargrove, Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, Dafnis Prieto and original pieces. The group features Kevin DiNoto on drums, bassist Heath Proskin, pianist/arranger Steve Abrams and Ali Luna on congas and percussion.
