SAMUEL NICOLIER

Samuel Nicolier started studying recorder at age 5, then percussion and drums at a classical music school in Beaune, France. At age 14, he found a passion for guitar, which led him to attend “Music Academy International” in Nancy, France, where he graduated from in 1998. Since then, he has played in numerous bands, including the award-winning Kansas City jazz band “The Grand Marquis” from 2003–2008. He currently plays with El Sistema’s talented Colombian teacher, Juan Ospina, in the band "Olemano” and teaches private lessons.
