Elie Mabanza is a Congolese-born guitarist, vocalist, and composer whose music resonates with the rich rhythms and harmonies of his native Congo Brazzaville. He began his musical journey at the age of ten, initially influenced by his family's musical background, with his father being a pastor and guitarist. Largely self-taught, Mabanza developed a unique style that blends traditional African sounds with contemporary elements, creating a soulful and captivating musical experience. eliemabanza.com+2Instagram+2elk-mouse-w8jz.squarespace.com+2

In 2017, Mabanza relocated to Santa Cruz, California, where he quickly became an integral part of the local music scene. Each performance is distinct, characterized by improvisation and a deep connection to his cultural roots. eliemabanza.com+2goodtimes.sc+2elk-mouse-w8jz.squarespace.com+2
